Creamy Butter Prawn

I love to eat buttermilk prawn and also butter prawn. Because I love both of this dishes, so I decided to mix both the recipes and be a lovely dish.


INGREDIENTS


Part A

  • 200g large prawns (clean it first)

  • 3 tbspoon cornstarch

  • Pinch of salt and pepper

  • Oil to fry the prawn

Part B ( For the crispy nest eggs)

  • 3 eggs yolk

  • 1 cup of oil

  • 2 tbspoon butter

  • 6 pcs curry leaves

Part C

  • 2 tbspoon butter

  • 250ml evaporated milk/fresh milk

  • 2 pcs bird's eye chillies (chopped)

  • 2 pcs garlic (chopped)

  • 2 slices cheddar cheese

  • salt, sugar and pepper to taste

STEPS

  1. For the crispy nest eggs, crack the 3 eggs into a bowl and use the egg yolk only. Beat the egg yolk.

  2. Heat the wok, put the oil and then put the butter. Wait until the butter melt. Remember! Just use a medium fire.

  3. Use a ladle and stir the oil and butter in clockwise, on the other hand slowly pour all the beaten eggs. Stir it until you can see a lot of foam is produced.

  4. After that quickly put the curry leaves. Stir it a while and can turn off the heat.

  5. Put out the egg into the strainer to strain the excess oil. Leave it for a while,

  6. At the other pan, heat the oil to fry the prawns.

  7. Mix the prawn with cornstarch and fry it. After all the prawns are fried, put aside.

  8. To make the creamy buttermilk, in the pan melt the butter.

  9. Put the chopped garlic, bird's eyes chilies and curry leaves into the pan, stir it until the fragrance smell produced.

  10. After that, put the milk and stir it.

  11. Then, put sugar, salt and pepper to taste.

  12. Add the cheese slices to make it more creamy.

  13. When mixture starts to boil, add the fried prawns into the pan and stir fry to combine everything. Turn off the heat and ready to serve.

  14. Before serve it. Put the crispy nest eggs on the top of the dish and everything is done!
